The client is one the leading manufacturers of torque converter in automotive industry. In this project they asked ADT to perform a hydrodynamic design optimisation of a torque converter using the inverse design code TURBOdesign1.
The customer, one of the leading suppliers for aerospace companies, asked ADT to carry out the complete aerodynamic design of a radial inflow turbine stage using inverse design approach available through the TURBOdesign Suite software.
The aim for this project was to design a refrigeration compressor stage using R134a to improve performance of the entire stage (impeller, vaneless diffuser and volute) and to meet various flow rates and pressure ratio requirements by trimming the impeller.
The client, a world leading manufacturer of air and pressure cleaning systems, asked ADT to design a cooling fan within a very short time frame for an ongoing project. The client provided the desired pressure rise, flow rate and design geometrical constraints.
The customer, one of the world’s largest pump manufacturers, asked ADT to design an inducer to fit in one of their products, a multi-stage centrifugal pump. A designer needs to consider the suction performance of the first stage to make sure that the pump can sustain low inlet pressure without suffering of cavitation and therefore pressure drops vibration and damage.
