Inside Sales Executive (ISR)

ADT is looking for a high energy and dynamic Inside Sales Executive (ISE) with a focus on engaging and qualifying all prospective customers across territories.

The Inside Sales Executive is tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound calling and emailing activities. The ISE's responsibility is to generate leads and help turn them into qualified prospects by partnering with marketing and sales to create and execute on program and outbound lead generation campaigns. This position requires heavy outbound phone calling, qualification, consultative selling skills and tight collaboration with the marketing and sales teams to generate new opportunities. The ISE will be expected to report on qualification and call activity and stay thoroughly informed on all products and the industry in general.

This entry-level position requires an ambitious self-starter and someone that can effectively process inbound inquiries and identify qualified leads and opportunities. Relationship selling skills, with the ability to manage sales calls at varying levels of customer accounts, are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Research new leads based on target industry verticals through effective use of online sales tools such as LinkedIn, Discover.org, Smealess.ai, etc.
  • Promote and market ADT’s business through extensive and persistent cold calling, emails and communication(s) to new leads
  • Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing them to qualified prospects, providing in depth information to the Sales team to enable the most qualified and productive demos
  • Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
  • Help as needed to build awareness on special projects / events and drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, set meetings for conferences
  • Meet or exceed assigned quota of a minimum of 40 calls / 30 emails per day
  • Maintaining all contacts/opportunities and recording all progress in the company CRM

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of successful experience in marketing research, telemarketing, inside sales or business development roles
  • Exceptional professional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting with positive attitude and ability to deal with rejection
  • Must be self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently
