European Sales Manager

Advanced Design Technology is a global leader in the development of advanced software for the design optimization of turbomachinery, based on its unique 3D inverse design technology, to major manufacturers in aerospace, automotive, marine and power generation applications in Europe, Japan and US. Over the last 20 years ADT has played a key part in helping companies develop more efficient turbomachines and hence reduce carbon footprint and is now leading the development of novel turbomachines that will drive decarbonisation. We are now looking to recruit a European Sales Manager to continue our expansion in the UK and key European markets.

How will you make an impact

As European Sales Manager you will manage the European sales team and play a key role in expanding the coverage of ADT’s software and services in the European market. You will have direct responsibility to develop a strategy for larger accounts and targeted new business development focusing on larger accounts for the European market.

What will you do?

Management of the Sales Team

  • Lead the activities of the European Sales team, covering major European markets from London and Munich offices.
  • Using our CRM, you will be responsible for ensuring that each team member is effective with their time, follow up and tasks.
  • Lead and guide the team guaranteeing their KPIs and sales targets are constantly achieved while no prospect is left behind.
  • Enforce qualification processes and ensure the team is working on qualified sales opportunities.
  • Work with our marketing team and marketing automation platform to create email campaigns that generate leads.
  • Create and improve sales scripts and strategies that help the sales team achieve new sales goals
  • Recruit, train and coach qualified staff, as needed, and manage the sales team through KPI development, 1-2-1s and regular sales monitoring.
  • Perform weekly forecasts and report on KPIs and targets achievement

 

Large Account Strategy

  • Develop a go-to-market strategy for industry verticals.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders in key accounts - especially at senior and executive levels - to expand sales penetration,
  • Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience selling high value technical software, and a proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • At least two years of sales management experience, or similar experience managing sales reps, and a proven track record of success in coaching a team to meet sales targets.
  • Experience selling high value software and consultancy services to Manufacturing/R&D customers.
  • Consultative sales ability, demonstrating credibility in understanding business requirements in a client setting.
  • Experience of putting together and implementing a sales strategy that has led to long term sales growth.

 

Useful skills

  • Experience with HubSpot CRM or similar CRMs.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms.
